Terms of Service
Effective date: August 29, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Show Hub, including the website at showhubco.com, hosted content hubs, dashboards, embeds, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). The Service is operated by Motorboat Media, LLC (“Motorboat Media,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the Service on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity, and “you” refers to that entity.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you may use the Service only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.
2. Accounts and Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, pose security risks, or remain inactive for an extended period, subject to applicable law.
3. Plans, Free Tier, and Feature Limits
Show Hub offers free and paid subscription plans. Plan features, pricing, and limits are described on our pricing page and in your dashboard and may change from time to time.
Starter (free) plan limits. Unless we agree otherwise in writing, free accounts are limited to:
- A maximum of 50 episodes or content items synced or published through the Service;
- Hosting content only on a Show Hub-provided subdomain of showhubco.com (custom domains require a paid plan);
- Display of Show Hub branding on hosted pages and embeds, as applicable.
We may enforce plan limits automatically. Exceeding free-tier limits may require upgrading to a paid plan or removing content.
4. Paid Subscriptions and Billing
Paid plans renew automatically on a monthly or annual basis until cancelled. By subscribing, you authorize us and our payment processor, Authorize.Net, to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.
Fees are stated exclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise noted. You are responsible for any taxes associated with your purchase, except taxes based on our net income.
You may cancel a paid subscription through your billing settings. Cancellation stops future charges but does not entitle you to a refund for the current billing period unless we agree otherwise.
Refunds. Except where required by law, all fees are non-refundable. We may issue refunds on a case-by-case basis at our sole discretion.
5. Your Content
You retain ownership of the content, media, branding, and materials you upload, connect, or publish through the Service (“Your Content”). You are solely responsible for Your Content and for obtaining all rights, licenses, and permissions needed to use it with the Service.
You grant Motorboat Media a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, adapt, and process Your Content solely to operate, provide, maintain, and improve the Service, including generating transcripts, pages, embeds, and AI-assisted drafts at your direction.
We may use your show name, logo, screenshots, or public pages in marketing or promotional materials only with your prior written permission.
6. AI-Generated and Automated Content
The Service may generate transcripts, summaries, blog drafts, SEO suggestions, and other automated outputs using machine learning and third-party AI providers. These outputs may contain errors, omissions, or inappropriate content.
AI-generated content is provided for your review and editorial control. You are solely responsible for publishing, editing, or relying on any automated output. We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, legality, or fitness for a particular purpose of AI-generated content.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service in violation of any law or third-party rights;
- Upload or distribute content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, harassing, or harmful;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users’ accounts;
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service, including by introducing malware or excessive automated traffic;
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code except where permitted by law;
- Use the Service to send spam or deceptive communications;
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation; or
- Resell or sublicense the Service except as expressly allowed on an Enterprise plan.
8. Embeds and Visitor Analytics
If you use Show Hub embeds or hosted pages on your own website or channels, you are responsible for complying with applicable laws and providing appropriate notice to your visitors, including disclosures about cookies, analytics, and third-party data collection related to the embed.
We may collect limited analytics about embed interactions to operate and improve the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with third-party platforms and providers, including content sources, authentication, payment, hosting, analytics, and AI services. Your use of those services may be subject to separate terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services or content synced from them.
10. Copyright and DMCA Policy
We respect intellectual property rights and expect users to do the same. If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, send a notice to legal@showhubco.com with:
- Your physical or electronic signature;
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed;
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing and information reasonably sufficient to locate it;
- Your contact information;
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
We may remove or disable access to allegedly infringing material and may terminate repeat infringers. Counter-notices may be submitted to the same address if you believe material was removed in error.
11. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately if you violate these Terms, create risk or legal exposure for us, fail to pay applicable fees, or if we discontinue the Service.
If we terminate your account for a material breach of these Terms, you are not entitled to a refund of prepaid fees. You may stop using the Service at any time by cancelling your account.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including ownership provisions, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute provisions.
12. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MOTORBOAT MEDIA DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT CONTENT SYNCED FROM THIRD-PARTY PLATFORMS WILL REMAIN AVAILABLE.
13. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MOTORBOAT MEDIA AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).
14. Indemnification
You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Motorboat Media and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to Your Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
15. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Georgia, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us at legal@showhubco.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may modify these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated Terms on this page and update the effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
